As policymakers and stakeholders engage in conversations about the future of school facilities funding it is critical for county offices of education to have a seat at the table and CSFC provides the unique COE perspective in these conversations.

CSFC membership is open to all California county offices of education and those from the private sector who provide facilities products and services to COEs.

• Legislative Advocacy – CSFC promotes legislation and advocates for sufficient state funding for county office school facilities, ensuring that COE voices are being heard and needs are being met.
• Interaction with State Agencies – CSFC routinely interacts with state agencies and members of the Administration, including the California Department of Education, the Office of Public School Construction, the Division of the State Architect, and the State Allocation Board.
• COE Networking – CSFC provides a forum for county office representatives to engage with one another on complex issues and receive feedback from their colleagues.
• Membership Meetings – CSFC members meet monthly over Zoom, providing a forum to gain essential insight into current legislative and regulatory activity.
• Annual Summit – Each Fall, CSFC hosts the Annual Summit, a great opportunity to network and share your thoughts and knowledge with state officials and fellow COE colleagues on facilities issues, problems, and solutions. Member attend at a discounted rate.
• Updates and Alerts – CSFC members receive timely email updates and alerts on important state issues, including the School Facility Program, the State Budget, and various legislative and regulatory efforts.
